Planning a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming this summer? Getting here just got easier. Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is adding significant nonstop jet service for Summer 2026, including two brand-new routes, upgraded frequency from key markets, and an earlier start to the season across the board.

What’s New: Jackson Hole Airport Nonstop Flights in Summer 2026
New Nonstop: New York JFK to Jackson Hole (Daily)
The biggest news for Summer 2026 is the addition of daily nonstop service between JFK and Jackson Hole on American Airlines. Flights run from June 18 through October 4, putting Jackson Hole just under three hours from New York City with no connection required.
For East Coast travelers — and particularly for New York-area buyers considering Jackson Hole luxury property — this is a significant development. Previously, reaching JAC from New York meant routing through Chicago, Dallas, or another hub.
New Nonstop: Portland to Jackson Hole (Alaska Airlines)
Alaska Airlines debuts Wednesday and Saturday nonstop flights from Portland, Oregon to Jackson Hole starting June 10 through early October. This is the first direct air link between the Pacific Northwest and Jackson Hole, opening up convenient access for travelers from the greater Portland area.
Minneapolis to Jackson Hole: Upgraded to Daily Nonstop Service
In Summer 2025, Minneapolis had only one option — a single Saturday Delta flight. For Summer 2026, Delta upgrades Minneapolis to daily nonstop service, operating from late May through early September. The Twin Cities market has strong ties to Wyoming ranch and resort real estate, making this a notable improvement for buyers and second-home owners flying between the two regions.
Earlier Season Start for Key Nonstop Markets
Several major markets now launch nonstop service to Jackson Hole earlier than in 2025:
Charlotte to Jackson Hole — American Airlines begins service May 21, nearly two weeks ahead of the June 5 start date in 2025.
Chicago to Jackson Hole — American Airlines adds a new daily 1:15 PM inbound departure, expanding same-day travel options from O’Hare beyond what was available last summer.
Dallas/Fort Worth to Jackson Hole — American Airlines offers increased frequency overall, with a more refined seasonal schedule designed to match peak demand periods.
More West Coast Nonstop Options to Jackson Hole
Travelers from California and the Pacific Coast also see improvements to nonstop access in 2026:
Los Angeles to Jackson Hole — American and United maintain strong daily service throughout the summer. Delta adds a Saturday nonstop on its E7W aircraft starting mid-June through early September, giving LAX travelers an additional carrier option.
San Francisco to Jackson Hole — United Airlines expands its SFO schedule with more departure windows across the summer. Alaska Airlines continues daily nonstop service from mid-June through mid-August.
San Diego to Jackson Hole — Alaska Airlines adds Sunday service in 2026, up from Saturdays only in 2025, running weekend nonstops from mid-June through late September.
Seattle to Jackson Hole — Alaska Airlines continues daily nonstop service from mid-June through late August, a consistent corridor for Pacific Northwest visitors.

What Expanded Nonstop Service Means for Jackson Hole Real Estate
Improved air access and Jackson Hole real estate go hand in hand. When buyers can fly nonstop directly into JAC — rather than enduring a two-leg journey through a hub — they’re more likely to make the visit, and visits lead to transactions.
The new JFK nonstop is particularly significant. New York and the surrounding metropolitan area consistently rank among the top buyer markets for luxury homes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Reducing the friction of travel from three to four hours down to a direct three-hour flight lowers the barrier to making that exploratory trip.

Teton County, Wyoming Second Quarter 2025 Market Report
With the busy summer season in full swing, the Jackson Hole real estate market continued its strong performance
over 2024 by posting 124 transactions through Q2 (a 6 percent increase compared to last year) and by generating
more than $525M in dollar volume (up 10.7 percent over Q2 2024) for the first six months of this year.
As is typically the case for Teton County, home sales carried the day. Fifty-four transactions with a complementing dollar volume of $345.6M represented two-thirds of the Teton County overall volume total. Luxury home sales (properties with a listing price of $5M or more) led the way with nearly half of the closings (25 transactions). Robust activity in the upper end of the market also pushed the year-to-date home sale price average to $6.4M (up more than 30 percent from 2024’s average price of $4.9M).
Fifteen sales with a listing price of $10M or more — including 11 upper-end home sales — represented a 150 percent increase over the first six months of 2024. Year-to-date activity in this upper echelon of the Jackson Hole market has already eclipsed all of last year when only 14 properties sold across the valley with a listing price in excess of $10M.
Despite the uptick in activity so far in 2025, the inventory of properties for sale in Teton County has grown from 243 at the beginning of July, 2024, to 289 active listings this summer (or an 18.9 percent increase year over year).

August 2022 Jackson Hole Real Estate Market Update
Three quarters of the way through 2022 the Jackson Hole Real Estate Market continues to show signs up strength.
Inventory is showing signs of leveling out, up 5% month over month. Inventory has increased significantly since the spring, up 180% since May. While we traditionally see a seasonal increase in listings May-July this is larger than historical averages. With that being said, the number of current listings is still historically very low, at 62% of the market average.
Pending properties have increase 44% month over month. This is a good sign that the new listings are being absorbed and not stacking up. Listings are the crystal ball of a real estate markets direction. If listings were increasing, and sales were not, that is an unhealthy sign. The fact pending sales are increasing is a healthy sign.
Sales are also trending up, increasing 29% month over month.
Overall the Jackson Hole Real Estate market still very healthy, and continues to be faring much better than other national real estate markets.

Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, Salt Lake, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, La Guardia and Newark round out the options.

Fahrenheit 47 will offer Moët & Chandon Impérial and Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial by the glass and by the bottle, plus bespoke cocktails featuring Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial. Curated culinary après offerings will also be available for purchase.
